In 1977, after High School Al enrolled in 4-year Television and Film Production course at Columbia College in Hollywood. While there, instructors who were currently working in the entertainment industry trained him in the various aspects of film and video production. Immediately upon finishing his studies he was hired by PBS to work on a children's series.

Ten
31 Productions is headed by Al Magallon, a twenty year plus veteran in film, video
and audio production. Al was introduced to the world of film and video production
in High School. There he spent some time learning video production and even had
the opportunity to appear in a PBS film. That was all it took to get him to choose
his career in Media Development. 
From
there he went on to other film and video productions from documentaries, commercials,
dramas and even an IMAX movie. Paying his dues, Al has worked as an editor, grip,
gaffer, production director, camera operator, dp, director and producer. Al has
also spent a number of years working in short and long format radio production
including producing the popular International Radio Broadcast Insight For Living
featuring Dr. Chuck Swindoll and The Alternative featuring Dr. Tony Evans. Ten
31 Productions is the fulfillment of a long-standing commitment to produce media
with a purpose.
